'Este', the capital city of Arya, is the Hungarian word for evening. 'Hajnal', the district Freya is from, is the Hungarian word for dawn.

The Finding of Lokan was originally started on PoetsQuill.com, not on The Young Writers Club. This first version had all four of the beginning characters going to the Yn district, where Lokan was hiding.

Freya was named after the Norse goddess of love and war. The name Lokan was taken from Loki, another figure in Norse mythology.
